CrimeCraft is a free to play, fast paced massively multiplayer online shooting game in the persistent world of Sunrise City, a gang-infested future metropolis reeling from the total collapse of the entire world economy. In CrimeCraft you can become a criminal sharp shooter, performing various “tasks” and “jobs” for money and experience. These help your avatar gain a reputation, learn new trade skills and perform new abilities in battle. Items you manufacture can be sold, traded or auctioned to other players. There is a variety of clothes, weapons, items and skills available to distinguish your character and your crew from the masses playing online.
The game consists of seven game modes, which can be broken down into two major categories: Player vs Player game mode, where players compete against each other, and Player vs Environment game mode, where players compete against computer controlled AI bots. Other features include questing, achievements, crafting and gang hideouts.
Hundreds of players can stay in a lobby. Lobbies are where players spend their time when they are not in combat. Players are able to talk through chat, and barter items with each another. Players can also join groups, as well as gangs, which are equivalent to Guilds or Clans. Players are able to talk to numerous Non-Player-Characters that are spread throughout all lobbies. Players can join instanced battles from the lobbies.
Bleedout
Bleedout is the first legitimate expansion for Crimecraft. Bleedout’s feature list includes:
- A new questing campaign.
- New items and clothing.
- Belly Street: A new map that is used for instanced battles.
- A reworked style and look to all of the lobbies.
- A Reputation system that will measure a players activity.
- Combat Adjustments and improvements.
- Tournaments twice a day instead of daily.
