Hapland is one of the most well-known point-and-click puzzle games. The trick is simple: you can interact with any object on the screen, if it is clickable (the cursor turns into a hand icon if it is) and the aim is to take your little stick man to the portal. The portal is the giant wheel that lies dormant, until you manage to light the torches.
There are many subtle clues to help you get around, and the authors of the game help you if you click the button with a question mark at the bottom of the game. Look for directional arrows, pictograms on the wall, and other hints, while keeping in mind that there are some objects that can be clicked more than one time.
Oh, and one more thing. Timing matters. You ca find out that something works in a certain way, but if you don’t get the time sequence right, you loose. Other advice: don’t kill other stick men, they are there to help you achieve your goal.
If you finished Hapland 1 and you think it’s too easy, on the foon.co.uk website, you can find Hapland 2 and Hapland 3, together with more games from the same developers. Stay tuned for more great online game suggestions!
