Pirate Galaxy is a 3D browser based Sci-Fi massively multiplayer online role-playing game that runs on Java. It can be played on a web browser or run as a stand alone program after a small download. Pirate Galaxy has amazing visuals and huge star systems to explore. Complete missions, battle for control of planets, and visit space stations across the galaxy. Players control spaceships and gain ranks by destroying droids that belong to the evil Mantis race. Complete missions to earn crystals, and use them to purchase new parts and ships at space stations scattered across the galaxy.
Background
It is a dark age for humankind. The different species of the galaxy compete aggressively for Cryonite, the most valuable mineral in the known universe. The Mantis, a powerful breed of space aliens, have gained supremacy over the cryonite-bearing planets. Aggressively defending their strongholds and trade routes, they have condemned all other civilizations of the galaxy to bottom feeding. Whoever controls the Cryonite, controls the galaxy!
Gameplay
The game is controled by both the mouse and the keyboard. You can use the move to make your ship move by clicking the area you want your mouse to go. You also use the mouse for locking-on your enemies. However, your ship won’t automatically attack when you locked-on an enemy: you’d have to press the corresponding key in your keyboard where your attack is located.
