The Fast and the furious is an online racing game, different from the legendary “Need for speed” game, that has to be downloaded and installed in order to be played.
This game is simple and rather banal, for children, especially, because of its simplicity and lack of brain investment. All you have to do is change gears with SPACE button and it will automatically change to a higher gear level. Before you start the race you can choose one car out from four: 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse, 1969 Dodge Charger, 1995 Toyota Super Turbo, Honda S2000.
This game is inspired from the film “The fast and the furious”, with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, a crime&thriller movie appeared in 2001. Good movie at that time, in my opinion, but it’s a shame that this online game is taking advantage of its name and fame to gain popularity in front of the ignorant players that don’t have any idea of what this game is all about: Pressing “Space” button at the right moment and go left or right whenever needed.
Moreover, although the player can choose one car out from four, despite of their theoretically differences from speed and acceleration, practically they are the same, the player doesn’t feel the difference. So, don’t be impressed by that wonderful Honda or by that outstanding Mitsubishi Eclipse, virtual racing is not real racing, at least not in this game.
As a conclusion, this online racing game isn’t worth the time, only if you are in search for a “safe” online game for your little fragile child.
